Fuquay Mineral Spring Park

 

The Fuquay Mineral Spring was discovered by Davey Crocket Fuquay and Stephen Fuquay in  the 1850's while plowing on their father's farm. It was believed to have medicinal healing powers.  Today, the mineral spring is commemorated within the Fuquay Mineral Spring Park. Located near downtown Fuquay, the Park is beautfiully landscaped with.accessible open space, brick paths, seating, picnic tables and much more.

Bass Lake - Holly Springs, NC
 

Though Bass Lake is located in Holly Springs, it's right around the corner from Smith Farms. It offers a beautiful lake, boat house, fishing, walking trails and other recreational activities. A great park to spend the day.

Carroll Howard Johnson Environmental
Education Park

 

Carroll Howard Johnson Park is a unique 28 acre park with natural walking trails, native North Carolina trees and vegetation, rolling hills and  winding creeks. The park is used for environmental education and includes a small amphitheater.
